I decided that the solo seat wasn't going to work for me, so I switched over to the bench seat and brought the handlebars up much higher. My legs are a little short for this bike, but I can JUST get flat-footed on both sides of the bike.
I used some flexible exhaust pipe to join the headers to the mufflers, and got the carbs more-or-less set up properly. After much tweaking and adjusting, I rode around the block without shaking like a crack baby. It's all about practice now...
